Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand. On the surface, it might look like anxiety, relationship conflict, burnout, resentment, or self-doubt. Beneath the surface, there are often deeper root causes shaping how they feel, react, and relate. My work focuses on helping you understand both.

Together, we explore not only what is happening in your present life, but also the formative experiences, relational dynamics, and protective patterns that have influenced you over time. When you begin to see how these patterns developed and why they once made sense, clarity increases and change becomes possible.

I have an interest in working with couples and individuals navigating complex relational dynamics. Whether you are caught in repeating conflict cycles, feeling unseen or misunderstood, or struggling with communication and emotional disconnection, I help you slow the pattern down and understand what is happening underneath it. What looks like anger, withdrawal, over-functioning, or people-pleasing is often protection.

Supporting people pleasers and those who struggle with boundaries is another special interest of mine. Many capable, high-functioning individuals have learned to prioritize others’ needs at the expense of their own. Over time, this can lead to exhaustion, resentment, or a loss of identity. In our work, we explore where these patterns began and help you develop boundaries that are clear, compassionate, and aligned with your values.

At the heart of my work is helping clients reconnect with their core authentic self. Beneath anxiety, coping strategies, and protective roles, there is a steady and wise part of you that knows who you are and what matters. Therapy becomes a space to rediscover that self and begin shaping a future that feels meaningful, intentional, and aligned.

Originally from New Zealand, I come from a bicultural heritage of European and Māori ancestry. This background informs my perspective. I hold a holistic view of wellbeing - one that recognises the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, and spirituality. For many people, reconnecting with a sense of meaning, purpose, or spiritual grounding can be profoundly protective against emotional distress. In therapy, spirituality is never imposed, but when it is important to you, it can become a source of resilience and integration.

Before transitioning fully into psychotherapy, I trained and worked as a nurse. This experience continues to shape my approach and an understanding of how stress, trauma, and relational dynamics impact the nervous system and overall health.

My style is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented. I believe in addressing root causes, not just symptoms. If you are ready to understand your patterns, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being outdoors. I love skiing, snowboarding, sledding, mountain biking, surfing, and exploring nature.
