Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over a decade working as a paramedic and firefighter, roles that shaped my commitment to connection, empathy, and helping others in meaningful ways. That same dedication continues to guide my work in mental health today.
At the core of my practice is a belief that everyone’s story deserves to be understood with compassion and respect. I focus on creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. My approach is collaborative and strength-based - I’m less interested in labels and more invested in helping you tap into your own resilience and resources as we work toward growth and healing together.
I welcome anyone seeking a supportive space, including those who might not typically consider therapy or who’ve faced barriers to care. I work with a wide range of concerns, with a particular focus on relationships - whether that means building stronger connections with family, partners, or friends; navigating conflict; healing from trauma; or finding your footing through major life changes. I also have a special interest in working with first responders, service personnel, and neurodivergent clients.
My approach is primarily person-centered and tailored to your unique needs. I often integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma recovery.
In my own time, you’ll find me outdoors mountain biking, sledding, skiing, 4x4ing, or camping. I also run an off-road vehicle recovery and fabrication workshop.
I look forward to meeting you and working together to navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.
